Two pieces of elm burl under Dad's bench had been quite worm eaten, but I was able to save one and make a small bowl. It went to a friend as a thank you for the pillar drill in the workshop. The other piece had been wax encased which saved it from the worm, and my daughter claimed it! Elm has a lovely grain pattern, and the burl just adds to the beauty.
